Who really reads the nutrition facts label on their burger? Maybe you ought to.

Fast food nutrition facts will make you think twice before daily indulgences! This is food your body is not made to eat.

Food that is quick, cheap, and available anywhere with little effort…that is fast food. Over $33 billion per year is spent on advertising fast food in the United States each year.

The American Cancer Institute spends $1 million trying to convince people to eat healthier.

Who do you think is winning the dietary war?

Ever wonder how places like McDonald's and Burger King can sell their food so cheaply?

Cheaper cuts of higher fat meat, highly refined grains and loads of added sugar and fats as fillers and taste enhancers.

That's part of why these places are actually addicting.

In lab studies rats have shown signs of withdrawal when removed from a high fat fast food diet. They actually showed brain changes due to a chronic high fat diet.

Dr. Nicholas Perricone says we can help slow aging at the cellular level by choosing foods that are anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants.

Phytonutrients in particular, are essential for destroying free radicals that lead to cancer.

You won't find those or loads of fiber, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants on the food nutrition labels of fast food, unless you are diligent about what you order.

Even the best diets need help to get all the anti-aging nutrients that are necessary.

For most people, it is advisable to supplement with a superfood vitamin. A high quality superfood has phytonutrients, is rich in antioxidants and is completely natural.

For those of us who overindulge and don't pay attention to fast food nutrition facts, this is critical.

Look at a McDonald's order of super-sized fries. I love them too, but they contain 610 calories and 29 grams of fat. Burger King's tip the scales at 590 calories and 30 fat grams.

Just for fun: The first Ronald McDonald, Willard Scott, was fired for being too fat. Go figure. He must not have read the nutrition facts label.
